Production Notes - The blending process is a wonderful look to mix several of my favorite colors. This one starts white, but then plunges into blue crystals on a copper cats-eye background. Very unusual.
Affordable and fun.
About Our Process:
Items I create are hand-thrown pottery from clay on a wheel in my studio or occasionally hand-formed flat pieces. All are original and one-of-a-kind as there are no production runs of this work. Nor are the pieces dipped in glaze - they are all hand painted with multiple coats to achieve a rich dimensional glaze look. All items are fired in our own kilns twice - a bisque and the final glaze high temperature 2,200 degree firing.
The process is highly laborious, but I love the simple, whimsical and unique look of every piece. I am constantly experimenting with color combinations, design concepts and ultimately the actual use of these pieces for my friends and customers. I hope you enjoy the pieces for many years to come and I look forward to your feedback on my work.
